Stage Managers, Directors, Designers

Each year, the school accepts two to three students into the one year program in stage management. Instruction is given in all aspects of stage management, as well as basic instruction in technical theatre (set design and construction, lighting, props and sound). All stage management duties of the third year production schedule are shared by these students, under the guidance of professional stage managers.

The highly active production program at the school also provides opportunities for beginning directors and designers. Drawn from the ranks of young professionals and graduate students in design and direction, these individuals enjoy full use of Beit Zvi's human and physical resources. Their work is followed and ultimately reviewed by professionals in appropriate fields of expertise.
